"So we do not lose heart. Though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day. For this slight, momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. Whatever afflictions we are passing through, and whatever trials lie before us, we do not lose heart. For these trials are only momentary afflictions in light of all eternity. While our outer natures most certainly are wasting away, let us lift our eyes from our transient circumstances and look to Jesus. For we know that His power will keep us and uphold us as He prepares for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. One day we will be home with Him at last, and on that day He will wipe away every tear from our eyes.
We will be singing when the evening comes.
